Lesson plans and activities must be connected to one of the principles of the Black Lives Matter movement (link). Lesson plans and activities may be designed for any grade level and content area. Ideal lessons and activities have a local focus, a clear connection to one or more principles of the BLM movement, and are intentionally designed to support belonging and community building during the first week of school. Activities must be 10-30 minutes. Lesson plans must be 30-90 minutes.
