The BTU is hosting a Back to School party for the Church Square community. The day will be filled with games, food, fun, a basketball clinic hosted by Brian “BJ” Smith of the DMV Warriors, and music by Follow the DJ. Our partners–DTLR, AFT, First Book, McDonald’s, DMV Warriors, Follow the DJ, along with our community partners, Baltimore Metro AFL-CIO, Communities United, Promise Heights, and Union Baptist Church–came together to help children start the year off right with backpack filled with school supplies, age-appropriate books, and hygiene kits .
The Back to School party will take place on Saturday, August 19th, at Church Square (931 N. Caroline St., 21205), from 12-3pm.
