General Membership Meeting

In November, we will host our first General Membership Meeting of the 2019-2020 School Year. During the meeting, we are going to break into small work groups in order to discuss some of the critical issues the BTU is facing including the PSRP contract and issues you believe need to be addressed, teacher contract action teams, background education on the Kirwan Commission, legislation agendas and endorsements, as well as PTAs/PTOs.

What: General Membership Meeting
When: Wednesday, November 13, 2019
Where: Paul Laurence Dunbar High School (1400 Orleans St., 21231)
Time: 5:00pm-6:45pm (Doors open at 4:30pm)
Parking: Street parking is available on both sides of N. Central Ave

We will also vote on whether or not you want the BTU to support the Baltimore City Trauma-Responsive Care Act introduced by Councilman Zeke Cohen. The legislation aims to establish a Trauma-Informed Care Task Force  to providing trauma-informed services to the 15 citizens of Baltimore. Please click here to read more about this legislation so you are well informed before the General Membership Meeting.

Your voice is critical, so please make plans to attend the meeting so it can be heard!
