March PSRP of the Month

Stephanie Rich, Customer Support III, The Office of Family & Community Engagement.

2021 will mark Stephanie Rich’s 15th year resourcing families and staff, managing crises, and troubleshooting technical issues as a Customer Support Specialist III at “North Avenue.” Chances are, if you call the Office of Family & Community Engagement, you will be greeted by Stephanie’s melodic and empathetic voice that is all too often at the ready to solve your problem with an innovative solution or willing to direct you to an expert who can.

Before loving on all the families that call in to the Office of Family and Community Engagement looking for answers, Stephanie labored in the IT Department for more than a decade. This Aries knows the difference between VHS and VGA.

When Stephanie isn’t multitasking, you can find the Baltimore-born bibliophile and bath and body balm-maker listening to intriguing true crime podcasts like Invisible Choir and Sword & Scale seeking to get to the root cause. The dread-locked-goddess is known to make a sweet and effective whipped shea butter too. Stephanie alchemizes plants, solves problems and solves crime. Sounds like a super shero right?

When asked about her desired super shero powers, Stephanie, with great modesty, replied, “Sharing life experiences and wisdom through those experiences.” As past colleagues attest, “We are all better and more moisturized people because of Steph’s wisdom.”
