Statement from BTU President, Marietta English on the Appointment of a New School Board Member
The Baltimore Teachers Union welcomes the addition of Dr. Michelle Harris Bondima to the Baltimore City School Board. We believe her experience in STEM, (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and environmental science in particular, will prove to be helpful to the students and families of Baltimore City. We look forward to working with her and the other school board members to continue creating the schools and communities all our students deserve.
