The theme of this issue is “Building a Strong Foundation”. This issue features School Board testimony from several of our PSRP members, a follow-up to last fall’s article about BTU’s living wage campaign, and an update from the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools about their campaign to win the right to negotiate around class size. Know Your Contract tackles FMLA Parental Bonding leave, President Brown shares a financial update, and Patrice Pilgrim reflects on how the district can better support new educators.
