The theme of this issue is “Hear Us Roar, Since 1934!”. This issue celebrates the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Baltimore Teachers Union. President Brown recounts the history of our union, and two veteran BTU members look back at their long and fruitful careers in BCPSS. While reflecting on our rich history of union solidarity, we also look to our future with a new installment of “Know Your Contract” that focuses on teacher sub pay, a report on the recent AFT National Convention, an update on Special Ed PSRP positions in the district, a call to action from the AROS coalition, and more!
